The St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA) is thrilled to announce an upcoming milestone in its mission to foster innovative and adaptive thinking through robotics education. On November 11th, 2024, at 3:00 pm, SKNRA will officially sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Gwendoline van Putten School (GVP), marking a significant partnership aimed at expanding robotics and STEAM opportunities for students.

This MOU reflects the shared commitment of SKNRA and GVP to prepare students for a future increasingly shaped by technology and digital transformation. The signing ceremony, taking place at the Gwendoline van Putten School, will be a momentous occasion witnessed by government officials, board members from both organizations, school administrators, teachers, students, parents, and well-wishers, all united in support of this initiative.

This agreement will pave the way for collaborative workshops, access to specialized robotics curricula, and opportunities for students to engage in hands-on activities, building a strong foundation in coding, engineering, arts, and problem-solving skills.

As part of this partnership, SKNRA will provide essential resources, training, and support to enable GVP students to participate in national and regional robotics competitions, fostering a spirit of teamwork and innovation. The association is excited to work closely with GVP educators and students, sharing our expertise and enthusiasm for robotics, and we look forward to inspiring the next generation of thinkers, creators, and leaders.

Stay tuned for updates on this partnership and future initiatives as SKNRA and GVP work together to empower youth in the fields of robotics and STEAM
