A Year of Milestones

2024 was a groundbreaking year for SKNRA, with significant milestones achieved across the region:

  • STEAM Training in the British Virgin Islands (BVI): Provided training for teachers in the BVI to enhance STEM education in schools.
  • Creating the BVI’s First Robotics Summer Camp: Successfully launched and managed the inaugural robotics summer camp in the BVI, engaging youth in hands-on STEM activities.
  • Selecting BVI’s FIRST Global Robotics Team: Facilitated the selection of the team to represent the BVI at the FIRST Global Robotics Olympics, ensuring their readiness for international competition.
  • Expanding Robotics to the Dutch Caribbean: Trained students at the Gwendoline van Putten (GVP) School in St. Eustatius in robotics, establishing their very first robotics club.
